Flash in CWM as follows:

1. Download ROM of choice
2. Put the ROM.zip on your sdcard if not already
3. Reboot to CWM Recovery
4. MAKE A BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!
5. Wipe data/Factoy reset
6. Install ROM.zip from sdcard
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy!

I did not build this recovery and I have not tested it since i don't have this device. Use at your own risk.

Installation:

Place the img on the sdcard of your rooted device, and use terminal emulator or adb to run the following commands

su
dd if=/sdcard/z998-cwm-recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery

Try one of the other unbrick tools. Use the device "tester" when you are asked to choose a device. Let me know if it detects your device in DFU mode. If so, I can make one for your device. If it does not detect your device you are out of luck.

Are you saying when you use the unbrick tool it says "qhsusb_dload" somewhere? If so you are doing something wrong lol. The unbrick tool will either say your device is not detected or it will show you a mount point. Try the unbrick tool using "tester" as the device and let me know what it says. You may need to boot to a different mode by using the various key combinations such as vol up + power, vol down + power, vol up + vol down + power, etc. Do this when the device is powered off. Run the tool trying all the various combinations to make sure you are in the correct mode.

The img does not root your device, it is a custom recovery for flashing roms and creating/restoring backups. You will need to root your device before installing the recovery.

I tried it and the 3rd link (the stock deodexed B12 4.1.2 rom) seems to be the wrong file. it leads to a rom for the warplte:
warplte_B07_deodexed_debloated.zip

I tried flashing anyway but it tells me that there was an error because it was the wrong device.
