Flashed and running like a BEAST!

Definitely a good enough ROM to keep me happy until CM7 is ready.

Ended up going back to the debloat ROM.

Really liked the look of VirusROM, but it was just not stable. I kept having my data connection randomly drop out and put me in roaming, I had apps freeze, the launcher was laggy, etc.

So far I'm loving the ViruS ROM!!! Still testing but the dev is EXCEPTIONALLY responsive... I highly recommend trying this ROM out if you have a ROM flashing fetish. :D

this rom is great but I can't get the stupid fancy widget weather to show up... dont know why... my quad jumped from 1600 to 2000... angry birds is that much faster lol

nvm forgot to turn on my location cause I just click skip through the setup really fast... it works now

It should be mentioned, for new rooted Android users, that this ROM is a release candidate and not an official release. it will have bugs and a few quirks. That doesnt mean its not a good ROM, just dont expect it to be 100% polished, yet

Post this in the xda thread and I'm sure the OP will post it for you. Let me know what you think of it. I've been debating flashing this, but I asked how people were liking it on xda and no one answered. I saw that there are some GPS problems, so it's kind of kept me on the sidelines.

well, prolly a good thing i dint try and flash... i compared the md5 of the 2nd download to the one id transfered to my phone and they were in fact different

finally had some time to flash it last night, and first impressions are very good. ive been using adw,but i went ahead and set it up with lanucher pro.i like the homescreen transitions settings(set it on "cube" for now :p) and its nice to know that sense is not still lurking in there somewhere :D

i like alot the trasnparent background in the VRMarket and the notification pull down. also like the bluish theme that its got goin on,tho it was a little wierd the first time to see the android emoticons in blue instead of green

my only complaints are that some things are still "sense looking"- messaging and contacts mainly. i use the gingerbread keyboard, and that helps but ive become quite used to the black background of these in cm roms. also i have no use for the friendstream widget,so i promptly froze it

since you mentioned gps issues,i found a local donatos in "places" then navigated to it. gps locked in and the navigation came up right away. ill play with it a little more later and see if any issues pop up.

being a senseless rom im hoping for a lil better battery, but we will see. ill give it a couple days at least before trying the perfect storm.

I flashed this last night and while I like how responsive and quick it is I'm not having good battery life at all. Which is kind of strange considering how stripped down it is. I'm going to try Das BAMF this afternoon, hopefully I'll finally get good battery on a ROM I flash. I'm 0 for 2 so far :(

anyone run Plume scrollable widget with this? I'm having a problem where the widget isn't showing tweets. Just says 'false from Plume'. driving me crazy. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared data, etc. just can't get it to work.

seems to be working fine for me. i navigated myself home earlier, about a 45 minute ride. i got a phone call inthe middle of it,and i purposely went a couple different ways that how it was routing me,to try and confuse it  no issues at all-locked on right away, directions were there right away, and neither the phone call or the rerouting threw it for any loops :D

battery life is acceptable to me. i wont say its any better, but its defiantely not any worse. hard for me to judge since i navigated for so long without it plugged in,wich i dont usually do. ill have a better idea how long its lasting tomorrow.

Actually my gps using, this rom thought I was in MA and I am down in Baltimore, MD. Also my 4G speed was way down compared to the rooted stock rom. I like the Rom otherwise. I also found a 4G speed drop off with the Perfect Storm Rom (but not as much of a drop off....again compared to the Stock Rom). I did a nandroid back up of both the Virus as well as the Perfect Storm roms and will go back to them when I can flash the specific radios.

    Working...

So Im curious about what kernel is working the best for the majority. I know that Virus says that the Ziggy BFS kernel is his favorite, but Im wondering which works the most stable as well as which is the fastest with the best battery life.
