Root [ROM][VS870] Xperion ROM *Updated 11/2/2014*

There is nothing to fix. It simply wont work. My advice to you is to ask gt nicely if he will make a flashable kernel with my data mod commit.

Hey, I am trying to port CWM for the P875h. (close hardware to the Lucid2)
But my build boots with no LCD on, I get this on the kmsg log (after all the log booting up):
HTML:
<6>[ 42.150801] bms_soc_monitor_work: [BMS_INFO] soc=74% vbatt=4110V temp=32 ibat=-294mA
<3>[ 46.919945] mdp4_mixer_blend_setup: Error: no bg_pipe at mixer=0
<6>[ 46.919975] mdp_block_power_cnt[block=1] multiple power-off request
<6>[ 46.919975] mipi_lgd_lcd_off: mipi lgd lcd off started
<4>[ 46.923943] lm3530_backlight_off, backlight_status : 0
<6>[ 46.979215] mipi_lgd_lcd_on: mipi lgd lcd on started
<4>[ 47.112406] lm3530_backlight_off, backlight_status : 0
<3>[ 51.210010] mdp4_mixer_blend_setup: Error: no bg_pipe at mixer=0
<6>[ 51.210010] mdp_block_power_cnt[block=1] multiple power-off request
<6>[ 51.210041] mipi_lgd_lcd_off: mipi lgd lcd off started
<4>[ 51.214253] lm3530_backlight_off, backlight_status : 0
<6>[ 51.269525] mipi_lgd_lcd_on: mipi lgd lcd on started
<4>[ 51.402929] lm3530_backlight_off, backlight_status : 0

When you say the CWM port for Lucid2 (thats what you said above right?) won't work, thats the cause?

I won't be making anything else for this phone. Just ask your friend to build the kernel with his fix and post up a thread for you guys.

Thank you so much for your time and work but can you at least fix th cover art for The lockscreen thats one of my favorite features if not please tell me or lgrootnoob how to. It seems like a easy fix

I just realized you are a develpping for a different phone. So please take that into consideration when you read my reply in the other thread. Also note, this is the _wrong_ place to post this kind of stuff, meaning your hijacking gt's thread. But i digress, i cant tell if your trying to use my cwm or what. But it shouldnt be too hard to replace the code in the build tree with specific stuff for your device. Are you sure you grabbed and compiled the source from lg and made good makefiles? E.g., compare to my tree.

The cover art is suppose to only use half the screen on JB 4.1.2. All I did was enable the built-in AOSP lockscreen. If you don't like it just try another lockscreen from the play store.

On another note, I noticed I uploaded the wrong rom update and deleted the right one from my PC lol. The battery is suppose to look a little different than your screenshot and also it's suppose to have a custom aosp style xperion settings menu. I'll try to redo it and I'll let you guys know when I upload it.

Here's what the lockscreen looks like on every phone with jb4.1.2 that I've done it for (tested with apollo & netflix)...

I'm sure this is something dumb on my part, but I do not have Homescreen listed in my settings menu. It looks to have been replaced by a shortcut to CWM.

This rom doesn't use the stock home launcher so there's no need for a shortcut to it.

Disregard my last post, **** this dumb phone I'm buying a Galaxy S 3 tomorrow for 80 bucks and 86ing this piece of junk.

Thanks though for all the work you put in when you don't even own the ddevic, it didn't go unappreciated.
Make sure you hit up the lovely bms kernel when you switch. Its amazing.
Dont forget that the cyanogenmod builds are unified into d2lte.
And if your getting a d2vzw DONT do the ota upgrade otherwise your bootloader will be locked forever.

Gotcha, I had removed the charging wallpapers at some point, so I was getting the "Charging Wallpapers has stopped" message every two seconds. That setting was under the Homescreen Settings. Fortunately I found a zip to recover those wallpapers so no issue there.

Thanks for all you do, GT. :)

Edit: To update to the latest version, is it another complete wipe and reset?

Hey! Verzion locked the boot loader really hard on the prepaid Moto G 4.4.4 XT1028... I was hoping you could help everyone out with this... Its a fairly popular phone... I figured you showed Verizon whose boss with the lucid 2...
Yeah.

You kinda need to stop spamming other threads with this, you've already gotten the answer 2 weeks ago.

This won't work if you have locked bootloader, not only this, any custom recovery won't be flashed due to locked bootloader
You can use sunshine tool to unlock bootloader, they charge 25USD.
Thanks. ;)
