Baseless ROMs are basically ported ROMs that can be flashed over anything CM 10 based. All of the ports are unofficial and credit to each individual teams are expressed. Thank you devs for all the hard work you put in to creating your work.

No. It's made for cm10

Its baseless which should be flashed over cm10. It is a small file. This is not a full ROM as I first thought. Check www.avatarrom.com to get more info but I'm still gonna wait for some new GT goodies. I can't live without 4G

Because you're supposed to flash it over cm10, meaning you flash CM10 first , then this file.

Whatever is not working on CM10 (your base) will still not working once you flash this file.

Yes and no...I had it working but bricked and had to factory reset...I lost it. :-(

i got a paranoid-avatar-aokp-cm10 baseless now for the motion. maybe you could port it to spirit.

the best thing about this baseless port is, when pg releases a new build of cm10 for spirit, you won't have to wait for the port to be rebuilt you can just flash this over the new build. and of course aboatright wont have to take the time to re-port it.

So I figured out how to change the density of the apps on this port. Download ROM toolbox, slide over to performance and click build prop editor. From there scroll down to ro.sf.lcd_density and change it to 230. Should set everything just right besides the launcher its self which is still a bit off. I'm looking for a fix as we speak.


Edit: still got some dpi testing to do. Its still a wee bit too small.

Edit 2: found the best dpi is 240. Everything seems to fit just fine including the launcher.

And not sure if its cm10 or avatar but trying to select the default keyboard in setting throws the phone into a hotboot (quick reboot).

Well...funny thing. I was messing with it and it booted..but my phone thought it was a tablet and wouldn't make calls..lol...gotta rework it a bit
