Apps Rookie needs help with alarm clock!

    Hey, didnt know where to make the thread so im creating one here!

    So im going to create an alarm clock for android and i got abit panic cuz i dont know how to make one, im not that good at this but i hope i could get some help since i need to be done with the alarmclock in 2 months...

    some features i need in it is
    Change music, volume etc
    Set days of alarm
    Time
    snooze
    etcetc

    Anyone that would like to help me??

    Well, plenty in the app store already that do what you want so just go visit ... or is this a school project that you want help with??

    actually not really, but i would need alot of help since i dont understand anything that i have read yet....

    haha you've got plenty of time! better start reading on how to at least start building your app. i would focus on one aspect of it at a go. (i would start with trying to display the current time on screen)

    however, im just as new to Android development. so i dont quite know exactly what I'm doing either :p

    Check out app inventor. Also might want to hit up the library to borrow some books on Java programming and Android development.

    Ha! Or you could hire a freelancer to do it for you, as a last resort.

    Start with simple Activity with TextView, which change the text value every second.

    I am sure there is a built in clock/calender method that you would be able to call up to display. (Sorry I don't actually know what it is, it's just an alternative idea i had lol)
