I bought a second hand Cricket cell phone. When I try to set it up, I get the response that it hat been setup before and must have the previous email and password. I haven't been able to contact the previous owner to get that info. I took the phone into Cricket and asked for help. The customer service rep checked the phone and said that it wasn't reported lost or stolen, but that without the previously mentioned information nothing could be done. Other than rooting the phone. Is this a possible solution, where could I find instructions on the procedure.
