Root Achieved!

    Just a heads up to anyone planning on rooting, I came from the Motorola Artix and one of the root methods used edited/deleted some of the system files making an OTA update impossible with no way to go back to stock.

    Looking at that post the root was achieved by "kernel modification method + odin flash"; this is a big red flag for me, and there is a chance that if you root you may not be able to get back to stock or flash the ICS update coming out soon. Also this may not be the case here, but I want everyone to fully understand that if you root your phone, you may lose the ability to use the official ICS update and your warranty (but you should already know that part:p)

    Now that that is said, this is great news for us Note LTE owners and thank you for sharing

    That is not entirely correct. As soon as a rom and kernel dump are released you can flash back to stock with odin. This is the same method used with the S2 and chainfire's rooted kernel.
