Has anyone noticed after rooting that the market seems slower? ..particularly when accessing menu>downloads (to check for updates). I ask because I finally got around to rooting friday and have noticed much slower performance in the market since then.

    LOL

As if the Market app knows that you're rooted. That's a good one. :D

Noticed nothing like that after I rooted. I can say, and I often do, that all issues of this sort have in my limited experienced been traced to programs that don't work well together. Did you download and install any new programs either right before or right after obtaining root? Or do you have something running the background while using the market? I agree that root isn't causing this problem, but something is and I'm betting on new installs or background issues. Good luck.
