Root Root and setup info

I'm need . First I wanna thanks the people the took there time and help me root my phone just have some simple question because I really don't know how androi root phones work I come from a iPhone and if some one can point me the right direction . After I root my phone how do I Change my home page ,delete the apps the factory apps the I don't use like the my extras. Lol thanks

You can delete apps by going to the system>apps folder with root explorer or you can use Titanium Back up to freeze them.
