    Hello all,

I am running JM2 firmware on my galaxy s which is rooted and has the lax fix applied. With 2.2 round the corner I would just like to clarify if there will be any issues with the 2.2 ota update. I am assuming I will need to un-root the phone and remove the lag fix before it will work?

Also as I flashed the JM2 firmware via odin (the firmware was from samsungfirmwares.com) is this going to cause any issues when the update comes along?

    Thanks in advance!

You don't have to un-root the phone, at least I've never done this.

It depends what lag fix you used but I would remove it to be on the save side,

If the lagfix uses ext4 then you will have trouble flashing. ext2 should be alright but I've not tried.
