Root Root question

    Hey everybody. Still haven't decided if I'm going to root DROID with Easy Root or old fashioned way but I have a question. If I intend to just use superuser permissions on stock Froyo OTA, should I still get a recovery image and all that? Or does it not really matter until I start flashing ROMs? Thanks!

    Okok. I just instinctively came here since it was the root area.

    my bad that reply was to the wrong thread.


    Sorry about that. To answer you question its certainly not required until you are ready to change roms and kernels. Although it is good to be able to preform a nandroid and backup your entire system
