Root Rooted ally overclocking?

Im considering switching from the devour to the ally. i have a devour that keeps shutting off on me and its got the one year warranty, im considering waiting a little while until vzw offers a ally as a trade for a busted devour. has anyone overclocked the ally? i know its been rooted and i understand that it doesnt have any custom roms but im just looking to speed it up so i can run the psx emulator. how will that work?
