Root rooted but no root access

so yea, soft bricked my phone earlier, recovered from that but i don't have a update.zip for after i had converted to 2.2

so i updated to 2.2 and rooted using superoneclick2.1
now i have a superuser icon in the app drawer and i was able to use the "su" command to deodex the phone but i noticed that none of my apps are being granted superuser permission

any way of me fixing without having to redo the deodexing and keeping 2.2?

yea, nvm randomly started working now, kinda odd b/c it wasn't b/c of a reboot cuz i had done a few of those already, it just randomly decided to work and all is good now
