i am super new to this so forgive me if there is already a thread. my x seems to have a lot of gps issues in the past week or so (on foursquare, maps, yelp) and i did just recently root it. could rooting it have affected this or is it just me? i used the droid 2 method. thanks!:D

Letting people know that ATK's are bad
no. rooting has nothing to do with gps quality. with rooting you're only getting root access. like being able to access the c:\ drive on your computer.

when you say issues, what issues.

As in, doesn't acquire a GPS lock or position reported on maps is offset from true location, or ?

I highly doubt its root related unless you have rooted and started deleting apps and services. If so, maybe you deleted a needed service.
