    Hi All,
I purchased a rooted phone 2nd hand and was told it worked flawlessly. After inserting my sim card I realized the phone doesn't have an installed keyboard. Is there a way to fix this?

are you sure there just isnt one not selected in settings?

if not, first thing id try is to go to the online android market on your pc. sign in to your google account, find a keyboard. click install and your sensation should come up as an option to download to. hopefully,it will downloand and install :)

failing that, you could use adb to push a keyboard .apk file to /data/app if you have adb set up

another option, assuming there is an installed keyboard in the rom,and something just happened to it on your phone,if you are running a custom rom,and know what it is,you could reflash it. just wipe cache and dalvik cache, and reflash. of course, you could also flash a new rom. spend some time reading up on roms and flashing if your new,as ICS roms will need to have "firmware" updated in order to run them.

    hope that helps :)
