Hello everyone. ok so heres the deal. I rooted my droid x using z4root while i was running 2.2 froyo and was able to access titanium backup. i then updated to 2.3 gingerbread. now i no longer have root permissions. i open z4 and have tried to re-root and unroot.it just closes and i open it again and it says appication had stopped unexpectedly. i still have the supper user app which i guess means its rooted but again i have no root permissions. i have also tried restoring factory settings through holding home key when powering on. same thing still occurs. please help. =(

    1. z4root is useless on Gingerbread
    2. try opening Titanium and clicking "problems"
    3. see if it will reinstall busybox

clicked problems. said to make sure device is rooted and to also upgrade superuser app if needed. tried it again after upgrade. still nothing. did not give option to reinstall busybox.
