I just bought an HTC Incredible from someone to replace mine that broke. When I was installing "mybackup pro" I say a screen pop up saying something about "superuser needing approval" My boyfriend knows a little about rooting, and said it was indeed a rooted phone. When I asked the guy I bought it from he said yes and it was "Clockwork Recovety." What the heck does this all mean? and what sorts of changes and complications might it mean for me? I'm only used to my standard droid. Is there somewhere better for this to be posted?

    Thanks!

I've moved to the Incredible Root forum. :)

It just means you have super user access, you can do a lot of things that regular users can't. Take screenshots, install custom ROMs (what clockwork is used for), overclock/underclock your phone, take backups of apps and data etc.

If you're not interested in any of that, just use the phone as you normally would, you'll be fine.
