im looking at rooting my galaxy s as i want my phone to look like some of thesehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=761517, however, i flashed gingerbread onto it a couple of weeks ago and i cant find any threads on rooting phones that already have gingerbread on them.. how would i go about rooting this? should i put the official version of froyo back on and go from there? or is there a way around this?

    thanks in advance.

Did you try reading our own homemade guide?

Though this reply may be coming too late in the day, Rooting instruction on link below for SGS I9000 on XXJVQ worked seamlessly for me
