I have a Wildfire on the T-Mobile, running Android 2.2.1 and am wanting to root it but have a few questions first that I haven't been able to find answers to yet and figured i'd ask on here first before digging some more.

Firstly, Would rooting it, and just rooting it invalidate the T-Mobile warranty. I know its not a problem with the HTC Warranty but want to check i won't invalidate the T-Mobile warranty first.

Secondly, can it be done, i've read a few things both ways, but all of the being that clear so was just after some clarification first.

    Thanks for your help,

yes rooting does void warranty, but 2.2 unable to be rooted at the moment.
