Yep, i do the same. I experience far less errors.

I have given most roms the go but i still find myself going back to leedroid's.

I install with titanium if I have to but I don't really like doing it. Luckily i'm in a place at the moment where I just don't want to try anything else.

Another alternative is to keep the vanilla ROM and to get the paid version of LauncherPro. This includes widgets very similar to those in Sense including calendar, contacts, bookmarks and now a twitter widget as well.

I went with Modaco R8 in the end. Very nice ROM, nice and clean and the Sense stuff is back! Though, I may put Launcher Pro back..I really miss that dock, and if the calender is ok I'll stick with that.

Finally, A2SD+ works great! I've reinstalled all my apps, plus a billion more and I've only used up 27mb of the internal memory! This is how the Desire SHOULD be!

    Agreed.

    R8 is a great ROM.

Quick link to the R8 ROM.

Wouldn't mind having a wee look at it...

Christ, I have just managed to get my first custom ROM on (with great difficulty :D)

I've added A2SD+ as an option to my ROM (because of lots of requests - I still don't like it much).
