I know that Motorola Moto E4 comes in multiple variants, including XT1763 (sold in Brazil with Dual-SIM and MediaTek MT6737, but no compass), XT1766 (sold in EU with NFC, Single-SIM and MediaTek MT6737), and XT1767 (sold in USA with Single-SIM and Snapdragon). Therefore I wonder: does rooting (especially unlocking bootloader) work differently on the different variations of the phone? I have XT1767 version bought prepaid from Verizon, so I am especially interested in it. Internet is full of guides, but not all of them specify which model they apply to. I heard that Verizon is notorious for making it hard to unlock their phones, but is there really nothing I can do? I have seen a post by @andMego, but unfortunately he does not specify which version he has, neither provides much detail about the process he followed (instead fixes issues with his own device). Thank you.
