Root rooting my xperia x10

    Is there a guide or anything on how to root?

    You can try the One Click Root, It works great, It is a simple program you install on the Phone and it gives you 2 choices. It allows you to root and gives you Super User Access along with the ability to unroot. Here is the link to the Forum and post where you can download it and a guide, it works on the X10 great, I had to click it 4 to 5 times to get it working but now it does.

    I think my phone is branded, it's on the vodafone network but they come factory unlocked and im using a different sim. But it's still branded... so do i go with the first one?

    my build number is : R2BA020

    I'll go with the first link then. Will it improve battery life because my current one is rubbish and lasts less than a day :\

    With how much usage? and what do you have enabled e.g. wifi, gps?

    google sync always on, and timescape updates every 15 min. 50 sms pr day 30 min calls and 5 e-mails pr day
