Root Rooting on OTA .596?

    Is there a way to root on the OTA .596 update yet? I just SBF'ed so I could get the new update and I would like to root again.

    No, you can't root it.

    SBF back to FroYo and install the two-part, pre-rooted zip.

    Will the zip put me back on GB or will I still be on Froyo?

    The two-part, pre-rooted Gingerbread zip will put you on Gingerbread.

    Awesome, thanks guys. I cant wait to get back to being rooted, I forgot how much slower the phone is when it is running all that bloat.

    I'm pretty sure he figured it out already, his last post was 4 days ago ;)

    I still don't understand how people have so many issues with RSD Lite; I have it set up on 4 different machines and haven't had a single problem on any of them.

    I work in a Tech related field. Have been in a tec
    SouthEastern US
    on my windows laptop at home i never had any issues with RSD...however since i'm a new owner of a MBP the above method is all me.
