Just showing anyone who wants to root their new SGT 10.1 where to go to get it done :D

If you received a device with a locked bootloader, follow these instructions.
    Locked Bootloader rooted with 3.1 - xda-developers

Im not taking any credit for this, just showing people who don't leave these forums that a working root is out there.

Hello if I route it, can I later reset or reformat is back to original factory settings?

You should be able to unroot it if you wish, not exactly sure how though.

Should be able to just flash the 3.1 OTA stock update to unroot. At least I believe that is how it should be done.

Yes, You would flash the 3.1 Update then you would flash the Stock ODIN to return the Recovery to normal.

Not yet. There are 2 things in the works that pertain to this, but nothing without errors yet (ie Touch Screen not working etc).

Thanks! I just got a few more questions before I jump into this

    1. Where do I find those files?
    2. Is the 3.1 update carrier specific?
    3. How would I go about flashing those files, through the custom clockwork recovery, correct?

I'm familiar with most of this stuff from my Droid X, but some of this is different so I wanna make sure I won't have a brick on my hands :p
