ok you did the htcdev unlock method which is the first step.....the second step is to get recovery and then you either need to flash a custom rom or flash the su file......the info is in the guide i linked.

please take a look at the info there and let us know if you have any questions.

i will look into the links for the capt's method. but you are almost done with htc dev method.

    NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

may i suggest that you try mikg3.11 it is waaaaaaaay better then stock and it has su cooked in. you can get it here:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/618281-list-utilities-apps-roms-kernels-og-evo.html

check out the staff picks for the link.

also if you want to try something different then i would suggest trying deck's reloaded as well.....it is also in the staff picks.

and another thing do not forget to make a nandroid backup before flashing a rom.

    nice!!!!!!

one suggestion save that nandroid backup. that way if you ever need to go back to a stock rom you will have one handy. i would save it to your computer, external hard drive and or the cloud.....i still have my very first nandroid backup ( somewhere:eek: )
