I think you mean which is the best bug free ROM. Anyways, the best rom out IMO is Fresh 1.1 if you want reliability and stability. If you want to go for a 2.1 ROM, Fresh 2.0d is pretty solid as well.

Congrats on rooting successfully and enjoy the mods. Don't forget to nandroid backup before flashing new mods.

So fresh 1.1 is the best bug free at the moment. Is that also the one click install rom?

I think you are mis-understanding. You cannot install a ROM until you root. After you root, then you can install a ROM. There is an auto root, yes. Some have had success, other have not. My suggestion to you is to read. Start by reading the guide, then it will make more sense. All your questions thus far would have been answered in that FAQ/Guide. Start there.

I misread your original question. If you still need to root, follow the guide as ccapasso stated. I personally recommend the manual method, but that's up to you. Then, my original response will be relevant when you are ready to flash a ROM. Good luck.

I too recommend doing it manually. It is very simple and if you are going to be rooted and start flashing ROMs it is a good idea to start learning what you are doing and not just relying on someone else's "one-click" options. It never hurts to learn a little. :)

if you go to xda forums they have a wiki that has step by step instructions. Good luck, oh and fresh 2.0d is a good option for trying out 2.1.

Lol, we have a guide right here as well. It has both FAQ and Step by Step. Don't get me wrong, xda is a great site, just saying :)

all the advice given here will get you rooted and ROM'd... that is of course IF you:
    1. can read and follow simple directions (and I mean follow them exactly)
    2. Have a Sprint Hero (you never said you have a Sprint Hero)

simply put the .zip on your SD card like you did Fresh.. reboot into recovery like you did to flash Fresh.. select flash zip just like you did for Fresh.. this time pick the zip that is Gumbo.. this is the same procedure for flashing anything to your phone.
