I like how FeedR is setup in that you can read the news item in the same screen, mark as read, and move to the next item, very quickly getting through them. However, I am tired of it reporting new items when there are none. Does anyone know an app that is setup the same way, but works a bit better? It seems like most of the apps open the news in a new screen, and then you have to press back to return to the list after each item. Thanks!

I don't see a way to make Feed+ function in this manner. Are you sure it does? Any pointers? Thanks in advance.

No idea whether it would meet your needs, but I've been using RSSDemon forever and haven't found an RSS Reader that works as well for me...which is a bit sad at this point since it's kind of old, but oh well. :)

In Greader, you can swipe to the next or prievious article and, on the upper right hand corner of each article, mark it as read/saved/starred.

My way to use Feed+ ... after opening, I tap on Unread, at the overview I open the first article and then go to the next article with a wiping gesture. No need to go back to the overview :)

In the same manner I can read through a single feed if I don't want to read all Unread.

gReader pro is the king of RSS IMHO. It allows you leverage Google reader, plus it finds the source article on the web and brings in all of the text, even on multiple pages. It also automatically caches articles for plane travelers and downloads podcasts
