Ok a few weeks ago I came across a thread about moving apps to the sd card. In it, someone mentioned runing an entire android rom from your micro sd card so you don't have to root your phone per se in order to get root functionality. I just got a shiny new 8 gig, class 10 (SQWEEE!), micro sd card; but for the life of me I can't find that thread. So my questions are:

1.) Is there a way to run android entirely from my SD Card?
2.) Can anyone point me in that direction?
3.) If not is there an alternate solution any one can recommend?
4.) Or am I just on crack?!

    Thank you

What you might have read is a discussion of running CM7 off the SD card in a Nook Color. It is possible to do this on the NC without first rooting the device because the NC can boot from a card. I don't know what other Android devices can do this, but I imagine there are relatively few. Anyway, you can read more about it in the root section of the Nook Color subforum.

Nope, and I don't think it was cm7. It was in a thread about the optimus running out of space all the time, no one mentioned the nook.
