Depending on the angle I am holding the tablet, or if a grip the "frame" at certain points, my s pen goes in and out of being recognized. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have heard some people have this problem when they are using a case that has magnetic closures. The magnets seem to interfere with the s-pen.

You were right! I took it out of my case which had a metal ring on the back. Even though there wasn't a magnet, that was the problem. No issues when not in the case.

My case folds back on itself and puts a magnet right where the pen plugs in. That one is the culprit as it seems to make the tablet think the pen is not pulled out. So you may still use your case, just check if there is w magnet in that location.
