Hi I am using Samsung S6 from last December; it was pretty good and very user friendly but unfortunately after the latest software updates (Marshmallow) the S voice does not supporting and recognizing the caller information. It is really embarrassing me and I tried to contact Samsung official support site but since my phone is manufactured in Vietnam they are asking me to contact them, unfortunately the Vietnam site is not in English.
Why Samsung is only helping to UK and USA??? Samsung is only providing solution for their UK and USA customers, if so then they will have to sell only to them…Vietnam factory also own by Samsung right???
Please someone can help me if possible

Who's your carrier? They are the ones that released the update.

Your carrier is your cell service provider. Who do you pay for service? That's your carrier.

Hi...I spoke to the service provider, they said that they are not responsible for the software update and the problem should be sorted out by Samsung. The recent update was sent by Samsung not by them they said.

Anyway thanks so much for your time and the help.

Hopefully you have a computer. Go to this link and download Kies3. It will help you reinstall the upgrade. It will, however, erase all the user data on your phone in the process. This is by far the best way to upgrade. Hope it works.

What kind of failure are you getting in Kies. It can be very fickle about the serial number.
@Dezlleh put an @ in front to ping the member, BTW.

In Kies, I don't get anything but backups, no software details....then only I have started searching and found this site and already downloaded the same, but I am not quite sure about the site. There is video on YouTube that the way of degrading the OS from Marshmallow to Android 5.1.1, by watching that only I going to start the job.

@Jfalls63 knows more about Kies and Odin. I would not trust that site. Sounds ok but we can walk you through the same process.

One of the first things I would try is a cache wipe in recovery.
Usually after a large update, say from 5.1 to 6.0, I will do a factory reset. Helps to clear out any left behind data and gunk from the previous version.
To wipe cache from phone off, press and hold volume up + home + power till you boot into the recovery menu.
Use the volume down button to scroll down to highlight Wipe Cache then the power button to select it. After, reboot phone.

    Hi Jfalls63
I tried the factory reset but the OS still remains same, because I think the latest software 6.0 is over written on 5.1.
I have not tried your second option wiping cache...I must try this..but my problem is if the phone does not restart due to any errors then what would be the option??? that's why I'm still keeping quite....what do you think about the below given site???

Some devices are easier to downgrade than others and you do so at your own risk. The guide is easy to follow and should work.
The only thing I have hated about updates is when my device stops receiving them. They may take a while to get used to and have a few bugs but that usually gets worked out.
    Good luck.
