Help S2 from gingerbread to Jellybean? how ? restricted to 1 network

My samsung S2 only works on Three network (3G) UK.

Can I update my gingerbread software to Jellybean? if so how do I do it?

It sounds as though you have a sim locked phone that is locked to the Three network. You could contact them and enquire about unlocking it for you.

Being sim locked does not prevent you from updating via the Samsung PC Suite, Kies, or by manually flashing the latest, Three, Jelly Bean firmware using Odin as described in posts #1, #2 and #3 of the Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide

ive already got odin software on my lappy n the three network file that I need. Do I just do exactly the same thing I did with my other completely UNLOCKED phone to this sim locked one?

So long as it is the same procedure as shown in the link in #1.7 of the previously mentioned Dummies Guide.
