    Hi there;

    A while ago I upgraded from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 via Odin, after giving up waiting for an official update. Now I see that Virgin/Bell have an official update to ICS, but of course I can no longer do that via Kies, as a result of using Odin.

    So, what are my options? Do I have to 'downgrade' to the stock firmware, then up to ICS, or is there a version of ICS for Odin which I can use directly? I'm really not too switched-on with this stuff, it was a miracle that I got the 2.3.4 upgrade to work in the first place

    Thanks in advance.

    You can either flash your original GB firmware and then upgrade via Kies or flash the firmware via Odin, (I9100MBMCLD3)***. See posts #1 and #2 here.

    You can download the firmware from here
    http:// http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
    Scroll down to latest firmwares and it's at the top of the list.
    You then need to flash it with Odin the same as your last update

    I've tried using the Canada Bell version GT-I9100M_BMC_I9100MUGKG2_I9100MUGKG2_I9100MBMCKG2 found on the sammobile website to flash it on my virgin mobile phone. But all I get is a bootloop of the Samsung Galaxy S2 screen. I've used all the Beta ones from Europe with no issues but this one doesn't work for me. I downgraded (unfortunately) to GB 2.3.3 waiting for it to show up on Kies.
    The weird thing is, I plugged my girlfriends s2 into my laptop and kies said there was an update but she didn't want it. But now it doesn't show up with hers or mine.
