S3 and all the hype

Is it just me or does anyone else think that this phone has been over hyped. It maybe Samsung's flagship phone but I am sick of the problems this phone has got. I have had my S3 since June 2012 and although the phone is fine 90% of the time it does have its problems. Two of the main problems I have with this phone is I can here the caller but they cant here me then there is Bluetooth every update that comes to this phone seems to effect how Bluetooth works on the phone and with other devices.

I think that good connections when calling and using bluetooth are mobile phone basics and it looks like Samsung are having trouble getting them to work properly.

Haven't really had the issue with a caller not hearing me. How's service on their end? As for Bluetooth I never used it.

This sounds very similar to an issue that plagued the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, which was also made by Samsung.

Got me, had mine a month or two, calls sound fine, I've made a few while using bluetooth on the radio/hands free in my truck. Seems to work.
Only gripe I have so far is it's too flimsy thin and plastic. But that's subjective I guess.

hell yeah.. over hyped!!!
i was expecting it to help me pick up women... they would see me with this phone and instantly raise my cool factor. but.. it has not!

No issues here, either.

I haven't had any issues with the BT. Use a Moto H17 and Moto Oasis headsets and they work just fine.

Also have a Monster Iclarity HD and Soundfreaq Sq-1 audio speakers and they work fine as well.

For the call issue have you changed the modem in your phone?

I had the exact same issue when I was using an incompatible modem for the firmware I was on.

BTW,which B/T device are you using ATM?

I am using my cars internal Bluetooth, worked fine until updates started coming through to the phone.

Different contacts same issue. The bluetooth always connected to my cars internal BT without issue. Since the last couple of Samsung Updates it connects sporadically when I hit the phone button on the car dashboard it can not connect because the phone is unavailable.

I am going to take it back to Phones 4U to get them to send it away for repair.

The UK tv ads for s3 flip cases make me laugh though.... do apple even do that??
