OK, so I have the Galaxy S3 with Android 4.1.1. I am having a problem with my phone. The problem is when I receive a call. I can see the call coming to my phone, but when I either pick up and look at my phone, or try to swipe it to answer the call, I will miss the call. It's even happened before I can open my case to see the call. I pick the phone up and will miss the call. I have disabled the motion sensor completely at this point and I have Google Voice on my phone, but I uninstalled it and got the same response.

I had the "Turn over to mute/pause" turned on but also turned that off. I also don't have any type of facial recognition software on my phone. I have the screen lock as "swipe" and under display have the "Smart stay" and "Smart rotation" turned on. Any one having this issue?

check and see if blocking mode is enabled or not. Also if that does not work try a factory reset.

There are a couple of things u could try one is try a factory reset and see if it works. Other option is try contacting samsung directly and ask them. I am assuming the phone is not rooted?

it is a long shot but try going to settings --> Application manager --> All scroll down to phone and try clearing data and see if it helps. Otherwise like mentioned above contact samsung and ask them or try a factory reset.

I did turn that feature off, but I'm at work and haven't gotten any calls to test. I've tried calling my self from my desk phone and it did seem to work. I'll have to report back on this with more information later when I get a better chance to test.
