Help S3 not turning on help

ok so my samsung s3 is not turning on properly , but while off it flashes an empty battery on the display every 20 secounds. The battery is charged and have taken it out for mutiple minutes and still same issue. the only way i can get it to turn on is going on recovery mode and rebooting from there but this only works 1 in about 20 times as it will only show the battery icon. i have factory reset the phone and still an issue. once on a full battery will only last 8-10 hours and thats me not using the phone. any help will be great thank you

bty also whilst charging when it is on the phone will say the dock is connected and keep flashing driving mode on , also my pc can not connect with it and ive downloaded all the right drivers ,hope this helps more

try to flash a rom if this didn't help change the battery cause it may effect the phone if it ruined
