S3 stock text app - text changing color?

Hi...all,
Does anyone know what the different colors mean in stock text app? Some contacts are blue and some are white. They seem to change when you open and close the app. Does anyone else have this happening?

Here's what was happening and cause? And maybe fix?

The above solution worked for me. Text color is all white now, must have been "emergency text's" from the NWS
