It takes several tries for my S4 to even find my Emerson EM229 Bluetooth. When it finally does when I try to pair error message appears stating that it cannot communicate with EM229.
Are you certain you have your EM229 in discovery mode when you look for devices to pair with your S4? I hope it is all that simple to solve your pairing problem. I once owned a pair of very cheap headsets that were near impossible to place into discovery mode. That was my pairing problem however. Once the headsets were set to be discovered, my phone found them and the pairing made. If this isn't a solution, feel free to ask again. Best of luck to you.
