Earlier today, my sister asked me for help to come up with a slogan for her final project. I went to slogan maker on my S4 and when I got on the page it downloaded something. I checked my download history and saw that my phone downloaded something called scan for viruses. I deleted it from my history and used my anti-virus (Lookout) and it found nothing. Is my phone safe?

I'm assuming that as you did not install it, or open it and that you used Lookout to scan it, that nothing has happened and that your phone is safe.

You downloaded something....Still in your downloads directory? (Deleting from browser history doesn't delete it from phone).

Good advice. Check your download folder and make sure its not there. You can try TrustGo as well to scan your phone. I use both Lookout and TrustGo for different reasons to keep my phone safe. (TrustGo has certain features like being able to scan third party web browsers and notify me of apps that use push notifications.)
