Help S4 Texting annoying!

Upgraded to the S4....the ONLY issues I am having it that when I have completed a text and press send....the keyboard does not disappear! So then I have to go back and close it....so that is annoying....any comments?
The other issue is that when I press the home button after reading a text, then another comes thru, when I click on the text icon, it goes straight to the conversation I was having previous, not to the new message!!:stupid:

Those are both design features, most likely with Touchwiz and are probably not easily changed without rooting. For your second issue, it will go directly to the new message if you pull down the notification bar and select the text message.

Can't you just download a different text app from the market?

I use GO SMS Pro... When typing in landscape position, and hit send, it will disappear. However, in the upright position it doesn't either. I almost always type in landscape so it isn't an issue for me.
