Anyone know what the best bet would be for a good S5 case that also has a good built in screen protector? I mean a good one. I had an otterbox case before for my galaxy express, built in screen protector and all, and it had huge slots and such where the home buttons and such were.. always letting debris and crap in it.

any idea what case wouldn't have that?

I have an otterbox and nothing is getting in mine but come to think of it I believe Verizon put a screen protector on and then a few days later I got the otterbox so maybe I have 2 screen protectors is why nothing gets in. Mary

How about the Spigen cases? Those seem to be pretty good but everywhere I look for an S5 case they're out of stock online

maybe I'm just lucky, but I have never used a screen protector, and have never had a screen messed up.

I'm using a Speck Candy Shell case with rubberized ridges to keep it from being slick and falling out of your hands.

I personally like the Zagg Glass screen protector, and I rip the Otterbox built-in one out (same reasons you stated.) I have no problems at all with this combination. The Zagg Glass makes it look like there's no screen protector at all on the phone.

Trident Kraken series has built in screen protectors, much like the defender series. I haven't yet seen one without the holes for sensors and buttons for Samsung phones. Ghostek Blitz is another with built in screen protection.
