Hello Everyone! I have the Galaxy S5 and I have been unable to send or receive images through mms. I have rebooted and waited and deleted and attempted to resend...any suggestions?

I don't have an S5, so while you wait for someone who probably has the simple answer...

Just chipping in that often this is a carrier issue because they'll limit how big your picture files can be, if you're in the US.

Once upon a time, I'd get a failure message for that but I found recently that's a thing of the past for Sprint and Verizon, for example. Now they just fail silently.

Pretty sure I recall correctly that Verizon is 1.2 GB.

If it's that and you don't want to be hassled, try Textra for your messaging.

You can see if you can override the max size in settings and if not, it will shrink your file sizes so that they'll send out.

Hope this helps and isn't a time waster for you, best luck!

Do you get any errors? What app do you use for messaging? Does your data work? Have the MMS ever worked on this phone?

I use this on my HTC, my brother uses it on his Samsung and we share pictures several times a week.

    Check out "Textra SMS"

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.textra

    Everything works for us.

Yes you have to make sure your mobile data is on to send MMS. I found this strange when I got my first smart phone as with my dumb phone that had no internet you could just send picture text and there was no data to turn on. Mary

Have you contacted your provider to see if it's on their end? Working fine for me on verizon 4G LTE. Mary
