Install Samsung Smart Switch on your PC, get the proper drivers for the S5. Connect the phone to the PC, run Smart Switch, it should detect the phone and if there is an update it will offer to install it. If none is found you may be out of luck unless you want to root the phone and find a custom ROM for it.
I have a G900T1 (Metro PCS/T-Mobile version) and the last update for it was 6.0.1.

You have a, "Hienz", phone... 57 different varieties!

It was originally the carrier branded model for the CDMA network in the USA for Verizon, (G900V KLTEVZW). See #1.6 of..

42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

It has since been adapted, prior to Verizon releasing their mega locked down bootloader, to sort of run, via rooting and flashing a custom ROM, the Hong Kong, (TGY), firmware, G900F.

Unless you are a competent and experienced Android modder, I would leave well alone. IMHO, the phone is as good as it will get unless you happen to be in the USA on the Verizon network.

Smart switch did not pick up anything
May take this back after Christmas and see what they say

Just installed root checker and root access is properly installed

I am guessing from your questions that you are not an experienced user. The ONLY stock Samsung ROM you could flash to it would be for the CDMA network Verizon firmware. Anything else would brick your phone.

Just installed root checker and root access is properly installed

It is exactly as I stated in my first post. A rooted Verizon phone with a specially adapted, customised, Hong Kong firmware flashed to it.

FYI someone else recently posted about a problem Heinz 57/Frankenstein Galaxy S5 that was supposed to be SM-G900F, but with SM-G900V (Verizon) stuff in it. That was bought on Ebay and came from Hong Kong. But I can't find that thread. Maybe yours came from the same source?

Was it this?... After Success G900F Rom to G900V

As the OP is rooted and hopefully has a custom recovery, they just, "might", get away with flashing the Lineage ROM for KLTE, (based on Android 8.1), as that does not affect the modem AFAIK. It does require a certain amount of experience and reading.

If it did go base over apex you would need to flash the old, (pre locked bootloader firmware), for Verizon if it bricked. See, https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s5/SM-G900V/VZW/download/G900VVRU1ANCG/28225/

So with some research . An original rom could be installed then a newer os could be installed ?

Flashed phones some years ago but not recently

No. You need the rooted ROM and, hopefully, custom recovery you are on to flash Lineage. The stock ROM is in case it all goes pear shaped and puts you on stock Verizon firmware/bloatware.

If can find the thread would be useful

I think it was from about 3-4 months ago. Can't find it though. But I don't think there was any resolution, and it possibly was a hacked made-up phone.

On your screen-shots the Knox Warranty Void counter shows as 0x0, so I guess that's possibly been hacked as well, especially as apparently your phone is rooted. Because 0x0 should mean it's original and unmodified, otherwise it would be 0x1. AFAIK the Galaxy S5 was the first Samsung to have Knox secure boot and system security, and it's very possible it's now been defeated.
