Help s5 wont charge and says device overheating

Hey guys
I was taking some pictures in the pool when suddenly the device stopped working so I dried and found that white water indicator turnes red. I put the device in rice for one day and it is now working fine but not charging it says device overheating cant charge
What is the best thing to do now and how much will it cost me to repair ?

Did u carry your phone into the pool. i think its because of water damage although s5 says waterproof. Take ur battery out and leave it out for some seconds. If that doesn't work send an email to Samsung and see what they say.
