I have a S6 edge AT&T and it seems that the device does not have the glove mode like the previous galaxies. Anyone knows if it is missing the hardware or there might be a chance that it would become active during upgrades?
As I live where we have cold winters, the glove mode is a big deal breaker!!

The whole glove mode from previous galaxies was just a way to turn the sensitivity higher. The S6 series doesn't have that for two reasons. 1. Most gloves have electroconductive wiring sown into them. 2. The screens are sensitive enough that it's not quite necessary.

Mistype. Most gloves that are made for touchscreens have electroconductive wire sewn into them.
