    Hello,

I just received my S7 Edge and was looking at the app battery usage. The first app was the screen (of course) at 21% usage. The second app, to my surprise, was the camera also at 21% usage. This is odd because I had never even opened the camera, not once.

So why is this listed as draining my battery, and how can I stop it? I want to be able to enjoy the large battery on the new S7 Edge and I feel like this stealth usage by the camera app is a bug.

    Thank you!

Is it possible that you accidentally double clicked the home button when the phone was lying face up?
My grandson did that to my S6 and drove me crazy trying to figure out what happened.

No, I've had it in my hands the entire time because I've been so excited to have it.

I would give it a day or two and check usage at regular intervals. The percentage utilization should shift over time. If it doesn't, you still have time to take it back.
