S8 Dual Sim & Bluetooth calling in car

I have an S8 Dual Sim phone . I have a work sim & my own private sim in the phone . I have it set to always ask which sim to use but once connected to the car via Bluetooth that causes a problem because even though I can “tell” the car system to call somebody it can’t proceed until I access the phone screen & select the relevant sim . Is there any way around this other than selecting one sim to make all calls ?

Sounds like your car system doesn't know about dual-SIM. It just doesn't have that feature. Maybe there's a firmware update for it. But you'll need to check with your dealership for that.

Does the different firmware move the sim selection to the car then ?
