General Sad day, my droid lost its life.

    It was fine early this mourning on the charger, then i woke up for work and it was dead even with a full charge so I had to go get a replacement. No idea why this happened. Maybe from my 2.1 leak?

    at least vzw couldn't see it had 2.1 on it. could have been caused by it, but i haven't seen that happening on here before.

    My other Eris did that put it on the charger before bed woke up and wouldn't turn on was running 1.5 on that one

    I tried all the obvious. No worries outs gone now i got my replacement

    root root root root!! ;) Hasnt happened to the eris but I've lost a few phones like that. fine one day next day, nothing.

    I'd wait until the back to stock 1.5 exploit is released.. ;)

    You can already go back to 1.5 from root, I don't recommend the leak anymore ;)

    Oh so just plain root 1.5 and not rooted 2.1 leak?

    ??? 1.5 to rooted 2.1 can go back to 1.5 stock currently.

    From Acidbath's post (i omitted the actual instructions for brevity):

    Full Downgrade from 2.1root (any) to 1.5 stock - FULLY WORKING

    THIS IS NOT FOR LEAK USERS SO DON'T ASK

    Rooting seems too complicated, especially were i dont have a computer. I dont understand that technical stuff.

    Not really, it's just complicated finding out where to start at. The hard part is following it like those old 80's time travel movies.

    All the different versions of roms. Glad I did it from the start, even then there was a lot of text to read through and things to learn.

    Wish I knew how to make my own roms and actually change things instead of putting someone elses know how on my phone. But I'll settle for the easy road for now until an author writes one of those custom rom for dummies books.
