Samsung apps update problems

I have a samsung GT - S5839i.
I would like to download some apps.
Whenever I go into Samsung Apps, it says there is a new version avaailable. Do I want to update or update later.
If I choose update later it says that If I do not update now Samsung Apps will close.
If I choose update now it says not enough memory. Delete some items.

As this is the first app I am trying to install I am assuming I have to delete bloatware.
I believe I can only delete apps through Samsung Apps, so I have a sort of circular problem.

Hi

Memory could be full with photos music or videos? If so backup/remove some.
