Help Samsung default email app - can't block spam

G'day!

I'm just helping my father out with some spam issues. He's got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and uses the standard email app shipped with the device. From what I've read he should be able to block a spam email address by clicking the options (3 dots) and then "Mark as spam". However, that option isn't available in the menu.

Checking the galaxy store, the version is 4.2.81.2 and is dated 27 June 2019.

I think you may try gmail app instead.

yeah anything other than the factory email app would be much better as @James_Watson is suggesting. gmail is greaaat, but my mom uses yahoo.

maybe you might want to consider getting a new email address for your father. and only give out that email to his friends and family.

Thanks for your help. I've set up him up with Bluemail, which seems popular.
