Hello Everyone,
I am new here forgive me for my lack of Droid knowledge. I just picked up the epic over the weekend and I have successfully been able to pair my phone via bluetooth with my iDrive system in my car. But my phonebook refuses to load.. It just says "Please Wait" is there anyone familiar with this. Is there a work around. I love the phone so far but I am contemplating taking it back if I cannot use it with the bluetooth in my far.

FYI: My palm pre contacts synced seamlessly with the iDrive system before and I have searched the forum and the internet and it looks as if this is a know issue but I have not been able to find a solution. Also the car is a 2006 BMW.. Thanks in advance for all of your help...

All BMW 3 and 5 series owners are screwed.

I just updated my EPIC to OS 2.2 because the Sprint store said this would fix the "pairing" phone book issue. It didn't work.

Now Sprint is blaming BMW. BMW website bmwusa.com in the owners section has a "bluetooth" prompt. Turns out BMW is very selective about compatible phones and EPIC is not one of them.

This is a joke and I am ready to take the phone back.

Wow that is unbelievable.. I updated my phone to 2.2 yesterday thinking my issue would be fixed to no avail as well.. My palm pre synced just fine.. It makes me want to return the phone myself.. What an inconvenience.. SMH
